Concept: Rapid-fire basic EM questions (airway, breathing, circulation, disability, exposure).
- 10 short questions, 10 seconds each.
Concept: ECG-based pattern recognition + one-liner management.
- Show ECG → diagnosis + next best step.
Round 3: The Poisoned Patient
Concept: Toxicology round
- Toxidromes, antidotes, key investigations, tricky mixed ingestions.
Concept: X-ray/CT/USG focused round.
- “Spot diagnosis” + “what you must not miss”.
Concept: High-stakes decision-making & prioritisation.
- Team gets a scenario → choose 1 correct next action from 4 options.
- Can include trauma / shock / sepsis / stroke / airway.
Concept: Teams arrange steps in correct order OR quickest correct answer.
